Some pieces don’t have much of a backstory. This particular piece was born out of the desire to take a large piece of purple heart wood and allow its natural beauty to shine. The larger cracks have been filled with a bronze colored resin, with a matching bronze rub accent on the black legs.

It has been sanded to a 400 grit finish and sealed with multiple coats of Odie’s Oil (but you may still want to use a coaster…)
