I came across a set of three furniture legs at a sale and wondered what they would look like when turned.

The legs looked like they came from a couch or ottoman in a design that was best suited for a model home (in my opinion). For a little bit of accent I used a spiraling tool to give some texture to the vase. It was then finished with some burgundy and navy shoe polish for a bit of unusual coloring. The hole in the vase is approximately 2 inches deep and perfect for a silk flower or two. The base was left “raw” and would have been where it attached to the furniture.
