This piece of Bradford Pear was left wrapped in plastic wrap for two years to see what would happen to it. What happened, you ask? Well, the darks became darker, and the lights became lighter.

Bradford pear has a wonderful “sunrise” pattern in the grain when polished up, and this bowl shows it off like a speckled cloudy sunrise.
