This is one of the first bowls I turned. It is made from aged bradford pear that was sourced from a fallen branch here in North Texas. The other half of the branch is a similar bowl that was gifted to the wood donor. Bradford pear has a wonderful “sunrise” pattern in the grain when polished up, and this bowl certainly shows that off.
